Event Description

Need to knit? Crazy for crochet or cross-stitch? Tear up over tapestry or tatting? Emboldened by embroidery? Swoon over sewing?

LGBTQ women, come out of the closet! Bring your needles, hooks, wool, silks, threads, canvas and bits to Temptation Cafe (56 Gardner Street, Brighton BN1 1UN) on the last Sunday of each month at 3:00 for coffee/tea and yummy cakes. (29 July, 26 August, 30 September, 28 October, 25 November, 30 December)

Novices and newbies more than welcome. Some (knitting) supplies will be available for you to play with. Lots of experience among us to share our passion for all things needlecraft.

The group is open to all LGBT professionals whatever sector you work in but remember that selling, suits, business cards, buying rounds and being boring are all banned. Forget networking. Come Un-Networking instead.

Peer Action for those living with or affected by HIV

Peer Action is a support group for all those living with or affected by HIV. Their core aim is to help break down the feelings of isolation and anxiety through a range of social activities and peer led support groups, including monthly, low cost holistic therapies, weekly yoga sessions, theatre trips and fundraising nights.
